Cheviot Hills
I remodeled this house for the Aguirre family, who came with a Wishlist for a complete remodel of their residence in motor avenue, which required a master bedroom above the existing family room, an extra bedroom for the home office, and a staircase. the design gave a better definition to the entrance, and turned the unused attic space to a cathedral ceiling. Moreover, the raised roof, taller French doors, and the Juliet balconies, gave a better composition to the façade at the backyard. below please see the before/after images.

Backyard Remodeling in woodland hills, It started with a sketch, as the homeowner wanted to locate a new gazebo.
You walk to a central fountain and a pathway leads you to the gazebo on the upper right, and the barbecue on the right. While you can take a stroll to the circular sitting area around the fire pit on the left, through an organic pathway dotted by shrubs. I selected the materials, and led the construction team on the job site for four month until the design intent was realized.
